Automobiles in German Town Found Smeared with Swastikas in Blood, Law Enforcement Report

Authorities stated they were alerted by a individual who found a vehicle in Hanau marked with red-colored substance

Roughly 50 automobiles have been covered with what seems to be blood from a person in the German city of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, as reported by authorities.

Cars, walls and mailboxes were vandalized, occasionally with prohibited symbols, they stated in a statement.

Law enforcement say they were contacted during the night on Wednesday night, when a man observed that a car in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been marked with a reddish substance.

The substance had been applied in the form of a Nazi symbol, they stated.

Officers then located numerous other marked vehicles and house walls in the nearby vicinity.

Nazi symbols are illegal in Germany under regulations outlawing the public exhibition of Nazi-era symbols.

Police state initial examinations show the liquid was likely human bodily fluid.

"There is still no indication as to its origin; officials are not yet aware of any injuries in association with the event," they commented.

Local authorities stated they were attempting "to resolve the case" and have requested to the community for tips.

A senior representative stated the attack rendered him stunned and needed to be addressed quickly.

"This event strikes at the center of Hanau and reopens the trauma of the right-wing attack five years ago," he stated on a platform, mentioning the killing of nine people by a assailant focusing on individuals of immigrant origin in five years prior.
