Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest financial successes, regularly earning massive earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really proceeding.
